Advantages of having vegetables

Vegetables are a great source of vitamins, minerals and fibre. They are generally high in vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, magnesium and calcium, which all serve as  important components in our body. Eating vegetables that are high in fibre helps us to cope with constipation and eating non-starchy vegetables, which are low in calories, increases satiety. Moreover, the phytonutrients in vegetables also provide many health benefits.
